The Brattleboro Youth Housing Coordinator and Case Manager will make a difference in our community by…
• Managing the Transitional Living Program Youth Shelter by:
o Implementing life skills and recreational activity opportunities that focus are person-centered and youth-driven
o Facilitating weekly house meetings that prioritize non-violent communication and restorative practices when conflicts arise
• Managing the department’s local Brattleboro HUD Homeless Youth projects which provides housing vouchers through a combination of HUD Transitional Housing to Rapid-Rehousing and Rapid-Rehousing vouchers
• Being the expert on all things related to housing resources and services for youth experiencing homelessness in our community
• Maintaining a caseload of 4-5 clients ages 16-23 and provide services that connect youth to resources, unpaid supports and opportunities to increase their resilience.
• Being a vital, enthusiastic and supportive member of the Youth Development Programs team
• Noticing and working to change unjust systems in our community and state

Applicants must have a valid driver’s license, a personal vehicle to use for work purposes and auto insurance.
Community Based staff will be reimbursed for applicable mileage
How can I be considered for the position?
You can be considered for this position if you meet the following qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in psychology or related field or an equivalent amount of education, training, work-experience and lived experience
• Experience working with at-risk youth and/or families in a volunteer, internship, or paid position
• Knowledge of adolescent development
• Have an very solid, bordering on expert- level of understanding of google suites
