Full-Time Brand Marketing Coordinator

The Task at Hand:

The Brand Marketing Coordinator will support the Brand Marketing team, reporting to the Brand Manager, Baby. This position works collaboratively across different marketing functions, such as digital and marketing communications, while also working cross-functionally with Research & Development, Operations, Finance, and Sales. As the Brand Marketing Coordinator, you will be an integral member of the brand team at Once Upon a Farm. Your responsibilities will be split between helping the brand marketing team execute Go-to-Market planning and providing brand marketing support during the product development process from concept to product launch.

 

In This Role, You Will Support:

Brand Marketing

• Collaborate with the Brand Manager to develop GTM campaigns and product launches, create creative and product briefs, and assist in presentation creation.

• Help analyze brand performance versus objectives, identify risks and opportunities, and communicate recommendations.

• Aid in monthly New Item Tracking/Consumption Reporting.

Innovation

• Perform competitive audits to access category landscape, flavors, claims, etc.

• Assist in defining product proposition, determine the source of competitive advantage, develop winning claims, and review nutrition panels and ingredient statements.

• Help manage, set up, execute, and analyze consumer surveys and focus groups.

• Regularly visit retail in the market, capturing brand placement and pricing as well as new and existing competitor placement and pricing.

• Support Brand Managers with the execution of commercialization tasks. This includes collecting and organizing product specifications (item numbers, UPC, version codes, specs, etc.) and certifications, co-managing packaging creation and execution (InMotion, TraceGains), and leading the sample request process for IXOne, 1WSync, Syndigo, McLane, and others.

Administrative Tasks

• Help create and update project timelines.

• Manage internal departmental ‘dashboards’.

• Assist in the shipping and fulfillment of sales and marketing materials and samples to retailers and partners.

• Support sample coordination during new item sell-in and ad hoc requests from the team.

• General organization and upkeep of file sharing.

• Other business-related tasks as needed.

 

In This Role, You’ll Bring With You:

• Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Marketing, Consumer Insights, Innovation, Business, or Advertising.

• 1-2 years of related experience required. Previous CPG experience is a plus.

• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines within specified time constraints and adapt to the unexpected.

• Strong, proven analytical skills.

• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.

• Strong proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

• Solid knowledge of Outlook, Slack, and other professional platforms.

• Passion for natural and organic products.

• Proactive self-starter attitude with a sense of urgency to achieve results.

• Ability to quickly adapt, demonstrating flexibility in a fast-paced and ever-changing work environment.

• Energetic and level-headed approach, excelling in problem-solving.

• Ability to operate in a team environment with a “can do” attitude.

• Eagerness to learn new things and take direction.

• Genuine passion for improving childhood nutrition for a healthier and happier planet.

• Up to 10% travel required: Although this role is a remote work-from-home position, we “Farmers” do meet as a company and/or as a department a few times a year. Anticipate possible travel up to a few times each quarter.

• Previous exposure to cross-functional work between Sustainability and Marketing preferred.

• Preferably located in the San Francisco Bay Area, CA.

• Must reside in the United States to be considered for this position.

Compensation:

• Full-Time, Salaried, Exempt.

• The anticipated salary range for this position is $60,000 to $70,000. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a few factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses, stipends, equity, and role-specific perks.
