Content & Community Manager

This position is responsible for assisting with the development of key brands within New Belgium’s portfolio including communications, media, and marketing programs.  In addition, this role is responsible for the design and development of media content focused predominantly on focused communities to support and enhance the brand.

Essential Duties:

• Support annual brand strategy for larger brand portfolio; lead brand strategy and execution of plans for individual brands
• Perform analysis and work with research partners to build support for strategic recommendations
• Lead execution of assigned brand plan strategy across digital, social media and event activation
• Track performance across volume, distribution and rate of sale for key brands
• Collaborate with brand partners, innovation team, internal and external content creators, distributors and sales team to coordinate support for brand initiatives
• Build social media content, including photography, video, design and inspirational stories; produce media showcasing regional relevance within compatible communities; manage brand social media calendar
• Monitor and analyze social media channels to build a community of followers and enhance interaction; identify emerging trends; partake in online community engagement; adhere to social media best practices
• Represent assigned brand by being present and networking at relevant events; coordinate collaboration with potential new social media partners; expand the brand’s network of fans with in-person engagement
• Other projects and duties as assigned

Education/ Experience/Skills: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration: Marketing or equivalent related experience and 4+ years of applicable experience
• Experienced liaison with demonstrated skills in invention, imagination, and originality
• Strong working knowledge with proficiency in use of social media platforms
• Ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously
• Requires self-direction, tact, diplomacy and a clear, courteous and professional manner
• Advanced oral and written communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively with the staff and the public

Percent of Travel: 10% – 25%

Wage information is provided in compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and is Bell’s and New Belgium’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation range and benefits offered for this position. The compensation offered to the successful applicant may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education, location, or other position-related reasons.

Starting Salary Range: $59,000.00 – 69,000.00
