Internship Botany and Pollinator Monitoring Assistant
Job Description
Survey sensitive plants and pollinators in known and established monitoring plots within the BLM-VFO boundaries in accordance with VFO protocol. These protocols will provide information to assess changes in sensitive plant and pollinator population densities. This information will help inform USFWS listing considerations under the Endangered Species Act (ESA). Additionally, this position will assist with Rangeland Health monitoring in each of the following allotments: Island Park, Rupple Cabin and McCoy Flats. Inventory for special status plant species in support of the John Wesley Powell National Conservation Area.
