We, at Leggett & Platt Inc., are searching for a BOM Analyst in our Operations Department to help support our Adjustable Bed business. As a BOM Analyst, you will have the opportunity to support order management, manufacturing, and material requirements. Your contributions will have a direct impact on the business by helping to ensure the end customer gets what they requested in a timely manner. So, what will you be doing as a BOM Analyst?
- Modify or create bills of material, record BOM change or creation requests.
- Collaborate with teams of engineers, procurement, sales, and project managers to ensure quality and accuracy for production.
- Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformity related to the product, process, and quality system.
- Provide detailed feedback to the team for quality improvements and verify the implementation of solutions.
- Control further processing, delivery of installation of nonconforming product until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.
- Understand and practice the policies and procedures for LP’s Management System, Manufacturing Resource Planning, and Continuous Improvement.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- High School diploma
- Excellent organizational skills (detail-oriented)
- Good technical and math skills
- Proficiency in MS Office application (specifically Excel)
- Proficient in planning and management
- Strong communication skills
Things we consider a plus
- College degree and 3-5 years of manufacturing experience
