Full-Time Billing Management Coordinator

Job Description

Hachette Book Group’s Fulfillment Department is seeking a dynamic individual to join our team. The Billing Management Coordinator will be responsible for providing data-entry, communication, and analytical support to the Billing Team and the various processes it oversees. Our ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills allowing them to handle multiple projects effectively. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are also essential to succeeding in this role. This is an entry-level position and a great opportunity to learn more about business operations.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Document, track, and resolve client inquiries via internal tracking systems.
  • Enter non-standard orders in the company’s internal ERP system.
  • Learn key internal systems and complete routine data entry and maintenance within them.
  • Support internal business groups and client business groups with ad-hoc queries and requests.
  • Support discounting and special offer queries and discount/special offer set up.
  • Provide analytical support to management of various billing processes.
  • Proactively interact with the internal and external clients regarding business needs.

 

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred. Equivalent work experience considered as well.
  • Strong understanding of MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Superior organizational skills and a keen sense of detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate effectively in both individual and group settings, regardless of audience.
  • Proven ability to deliver timely, accurate work product.
