Job Description
Weber Gallagher is a regional law firm, with more than 105 attorneys and 17 civil practice areas, in eight regional offices. We provide legal counseling and representation in the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States to local, national, and international businesses, financial institutions, and insurance companies. We represent businesses, employers, and individuals in multiple areas of law.
Weber Gallagher seeks an organized, detailed, and professional billing coordinator who can prioritize workflow for our Philadelphia, PA office. Qualified candidate must possess three to five years’ experience billing in a law firm.
Duties and responsibilities include: posting time, preparing files for billing, generating pre bills, editing attorney time as directed, reviewing pre bills for client guidelines/implementation, processing final billing, creating and maintaining billing rates, setting up new files on electronic billing sites, submitting invoices to electronic billing sites with specific experience in editing text files, adding timekeepers, budgets and rates to bill sites, reviewing billing errors and updating files accordingly.
Familiarity with electronic billing sites is required (LSS, Legal Exchange, Legal X/Allegient, Collaborati, Tymetrix, Serengeti, Collaboration, etc). Qualified candidates must have experience working directly with attorneys and clients and maintaining accurate client matter information in the finance system. Salary is commensurate with experience.
