Bartender – Part Time (Seasonal)
Serving patrons with a friendly attitude and knowledge of Bell’s products.
Essential Duties:
- Adheres to and advances the “Safety Always” culture of Bell’s Brewery
- Embraces how diversity and eccentricities make Bell’s a better company. Operates in a spirit of open and honest cooperation while valuing the inherent self-worth & dignity of every employee
- Performs opening/closing duties
- Cleans and stocks glassware
- Serves alcohol to customers responsibly & politely
- Takes food orders & handle money
- Assists customers with questions and concerns
- Cuts off individuals & communicating to proper channels
- Stocks bottled beer, soda & soda syrups, & inventory
- Answers the telephone and passing callers to the proper authority
- Accurately tenders money and gives change for purchases made at the bar
- Beer knowledge: Accurately describe all beers on tap & bottles in cooler, compare & contrast beers & styles, know proper glassware, tiers, and price points
- Full knowledge of all employee discounts, policies, procedures for sales reps & guests
- Band handling: Know policies including beer, payment, guests, logs, etc. regarding band
- Ensures the responsible service of alcohol to customers and retains up-to-date TiPS certification
- Must have a flexible schedule, nights and weekends are required
- Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.
Education/ Experience/Skills:
- Prior bar or restaurant experience
- Open to applicants without HS Diploma or GED
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- POS system experience (Aloha, etc)
- TiPS/Tam certified
- Ability to resolve customer complaints about beer and/or service.
- An energetic, forward-thinking, and creative individual with high ethical standards who will positively represent Bell’s Brewery both internally and externally
- A well-organized and self-directed individual who is a team player

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to be on your feet and walk for long periods of ti Walking surfaces may be wet and/or slippery.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 55 pounds and occasionally maneuver with mechanical means/assistance 165 lb kegs
- Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and climb
- Ability to frequently talk, hear, and smell
- Ability to frequently reach with hands and arms. Use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls
- Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus.
Wage information is provided in compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and is Bell’s and New Belgium’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation range and benefits offered for this position. The compensation offered to the successful applicant may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education, location, or other position-related reasons.
Starting Hourly Wage: 5.25 (Plus Gratuities)
