Full-Time B2B Warehouse Team Leader

This Role…
We’re on a journey to transform our warehouse operation in order to scale our business as we continue to grow fast. We need the right people to lead this exciting change and so this role is a combination of managing the B2B team in the day to day running of the warehouse, but also driving forward positive change in our culture, performance and processes. This role will be key in ensuring our B2B team stay motivated and enthusiastic whilst we deliver exceptional warehouse improvements to further progress our capabilities.
What you need to deliver…
• Manage all H&S processes within the department and promote a culture where safety comes first.
• Challenging the current thinking and best practises. Ensuring all team members are trained and proficient in the processes and machinery required within the department.
• Work closely with the B2B supervisor to ensure all staff are multi-skilled and fully functional in all aspects of the operation.
• Follow the guidelines and principles set by the area supervisor to deliver service excellence to our customers.
• Full understanding of the D2C operation to ensure the department can operate fully during holiday and absence periods.
• Oversee all stock transfers and management to a 99.8% accuracy level.
• Identify the route cause of all process failures, with corrective actions implemented and process documentation updated.
• Generate tangible KPI’s for the department to be present daily, weekly & monthly to senior management.
• Driving team performance & culture in line with company values.
• Build a solid foundation for a rapidly growing team with documented inductions & training schedules to ensure all staff are trained within a 4-week period, to the required standard.
• Ownership of the re-work projects across the B2B operation.
• Manage MHE requirements for the department, license checks, training & observations. Documenting as per the business processes to meet auditor requirements.
• Deliver the successful completion of all EU shipments as per the business’s requirements.
• Facilitate the rotation of stock through the B2B department to ensure stock integrity.
• Undertake all relevant training to maximise the knowledge required for the role, not limited to; audits, H&S, compliance, lean six sigma, inventory management, MHE inspections & training.
What you need to succeed…
• Effective time management skills to be able to prioritise workload.
• Self-motivation, a positive attitude, emotionally intelligent and oozing enthusiasm.
• Proven track record in a warehouse environment.
• Competent in the use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word & Excel).
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage upwards.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams in tandem.
• Show a desire to learn & develop yourself as well as your team.
• You drive to make things happen, using pragmatism and logic like a true ‘self-starter’.
• You are confident and willing to challenge the status quo.
