Full-Time Attorney Development Technology Coordinator

Thompson Coburn, a large full-service law firm with offices in seven (7) cities across the U.S., is in search of a full-time non-exempt Attorney Development Tech Coordinator to join its St. Louis office. Under the leadership of the Chief Diversity & Attorney Development Officer, this position will coordinate the internal programs sponsored by the Diversity, Inclusion, and Professional Development department. This person will be a part of a growing team in a newly created role working with individuals across the firm in all locations and at all levels. This position is eligible for a flexible hybrid-remote work schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Serves as the primary producer for departmental internal webinar events, which would include providing platform training to the presenters, conducting an audio/visual check, starting and stopping the live webinar, routing questions related to topics to presenters, and handling technical questions from the audience in a chat format.
- Creates programs in the webinar platform for hybrid and virtual programs.
- Coordinates logistics for programs by reserving dates, reserving rooms, communicating with speakers and technology verification.
- Adds program registration information to TC Connect.
- Troubleshoots issues and implement updates with the webinar platform’s technical support team.
Experience and Education Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required. An Associate degree, preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Microsoft suite (Excel, Word, Forms and Outlook) and coordinating meetings/programs within webinar platforms.
- Minimum of three years of experience in an administrative support role within law firm or other similar office setting required.
- Requires ability to use tact and diplomacy when interacting with others, and ability to communicate professionally with attorneys, candidates, department members, and other internal and external stakeholders while maintaining the strictest of confidence.
- Must possess attention to detail, ability to balance multiple projects and have strong time management skills.
- Advanced level knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required.
