WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Braze’s first Atlassian Administrator will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and extending our Atlassian suite. Within this role, you will directly affect process implementation, integrate Atlassian products with other internal applications, and drive efficiencies for our organization. You will work with various teams across the organization to provide best practices, automation, and improve each team’s insights into their workloads. You will unlock our teams potential by guiding their usage and implementation of our Atlassian products.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Partner with Braze’s teams on:
- Development and design of processes, automation, workflows, custom fields etc.
- Evaluation and management of Atlassian add-ons to meet team and business needs while maintaining the products’ high availability
- Prompt issue resolution with Jira and Confluence in coordination with other admins and partner teams
- Provide and manage Braze’s on-premises Atlassian products:
- Configuration, maintenance, and administration of Jira, Confluence, Service Management
- Deploy Atlassian services to Kubernetes for high availability
- Optimize the deployments to be performant and cost-effective
- Devise, test, and deploy integrations between Atlassian products and other internal toolchains
- Up-level Atlassian usage at Braze:
- Provide training for employees and new hires on Jira
- Provide updates to the business users on new features and functionalities
- Research and implement new approaches on Jira and Confluence usage
WHO YOU ARE
- Strong knowledge and familiarity with JQL
- Strong knowledge of Jira project and workflow setups
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong knowledge of both Scrum and Kanban methodologies
- Experience using Jira’s REST APIs
- Experience extending Atlassian products via code development
- Experience directly integrating Atlassian products with other systems
BONUS
- Knowledge of script-runner and Jira automation plugins
- Linux system administration
