Full-Time Associate Product Manager II

What We’re Looking For:

The Associate Product Manager II will support varying marketing technology products. They will have a strong understanding of the technology products across the 2U marketing org. They will monitor existing products and initiatives and serve as a point of contact between the marketing and tech teams for initiating new product trials, reporting and resolving bugs/errors, and building the requirements for and prioritizing enhancements to existing internal Marketing products.

Key Role and Responsibilities:

Implementation (30%)
Set up and configure necessary marketing tech infrastructure for new and existing programs
Perform QA and UAT on new products, features and rollouts
Maintain documentation and training materials for marketing technology products
Perform audits in support of product updates and feature releases
Provide support for product issues and questions
Strategic Initiatives / Planning and Research (20%)
Recommend process improvements around existing workflows
Work with various stakeholder groups to refine product and technical requirements to support overall marketing objectives
Research products and vendors, and conduct vendor assessments based on stakeholder requirements and business needs
Provide input into marketing technology roadmap based on stakeholder needs and priority
Continuous Learning / Innovative Thinking (20%)
Review product use cases to identify opportunities for improvement
Conduct analyses to gain an understanding of larger marketing team needs
Build custom technical solutions
Ongoing research and analysis of overall marketing technology landscape
Product Management (20%)
Prioritize and communicate critical bugs and issues to team leadership for escalation to engineering team/vendors
Collaborate with marketing stakeholders to align on upcoming initiatives and strategies
Maintain and audit documentation and communicate new standards and updates on a regular basis
Relationship Management (10%)
Train and educate internal 2U stakeholders on available marketing technology products, and ensure users understand the purpose of each product, and when and how to use them effectively
Mentor junior-level team members
Things That Should Be In Your Background:

Bachelor’s degree required
3 years Project Management experience
Comfortable learning and discussing technical concepts
Strong planning, communication and organizational skills
Experience working on cross functional teams with multiple stakeholders
Strong understanding of accessibility best practices
Subject matter expertise in at least two focus areas
Content Technical Requirements:
4 years HTML/CSS
4 years UI/UX
3 years WordPress or other Content Management Systems
Other Attributes That Will Help You In This Role:

Prior experience working on a 2U team
Knowledge of Javascript and other programming languages
Experience with web analytics, AdTech and testing tools

The anticipated base salary range for this role is ($80,000 -$95,000), with potential bonus eligibility. Salary offers are made based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, budget for the position and cost of labor in the market in which the candidate will be hired.
