Full-Time Associate HR Generalist

  • Supports HR Business Partners in HRMS (Workday) by administering processes – including new hires, promotions, transfers, and terminations, and job postings, employee file management
  • Provides direction and appropriate guidance to employees at all levels of the company regarding Company policies and procedures.
  • Partners on recruiting activities by creating requisitions, participating in recruiting meetings, interviews, consensus decisions, and offers for open roles.
  • Leads onboarding activities for new hires and conducts new hire orientation sessions – including I-9 processing, benefit and 401(k) enrollment information, and HR policies overview
  • Conducts offboarding of exiting employees
  • Positively impacts employee engagement by support HR employee facing activities such as benefits enrollment and wellness fairs and other activities as necessary.
  • Administers HR functions with HRMS data and reporting– including learning content and job descriptions
  • Supports or conducts project work as assigned – build out of sales or function team, rollout changes in benefits, etc.
  • Partners with HR COE partners as applicable (Compensation, Talent, Benefits, Payroll, HRIS, etc.) to ensure collaboration and accurate data or communication processes occur on employee actions or on behalf of HR client support projects.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

 

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business or related field
  • Two- three years of increasingly responsible professional human resource experience
  • Suitable combination of education and experience
  • Strong PC skills, to include Windows, Word, Excel and Web applications
  • Previous experience with HR management systems required, experience with Workday a plus
  • Technically inclined and able to learn systems
  • Integrity and managing confidential information appropriately required
  • Relates well and exhibits a professional manner in dealing with others
  • Prompt, thorough, and accurate with all assignments
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem solving and organizational skills
  • Strong listening, speaking and conflict resolution skills
  • Punctual, good attendance, and able to work overtime when needed
  • Must be detail oriented and able to do multiple tasks at the same time
