ASSISTANT MARKETING MANAGER
The Groundlings Theatre and School is seeking a part-time Assistant Marketing Manager to join our dynamic team. We are a performing arts organization, so there is a strong passion (and humor!) for what we do here. We work hard to create an inclusive, kind, and empathetic environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration. The Assistant Marketing Manager position will play an integral part in the marketing of the theatre & school and will work closely with both the Box Office and School on ways we can achieve our marketing goals. Ideal candidates will have graphic design skills (Photoshop, Canva, InDesign) and be well-versed on social media. Experience with Tessitura software platform a plus. The person in this position will report to the Box Office & Marketing Manager and will be both remote and on-site.
Assistant Marketing Manager Duties
- Create eblasts – Experience with Wordfly a plus
- Work with Box office and School on in-house marketing ideas and projects
- Assist the Box Office & Marketing Manager with weekly scheduling and posting on social media
- Assist the podcast team
- Graphic design work (Photoshop, Canva, InDesign)
- Write & review copy for eblasts, social media, and website
- Edit videos and promotional materials (Imovie, Final Cut, Adobe Premiere)
- Make Gifs for GIPHY
- Flickr/Vimeo uploading (from taking pictures/videos of shows)
- Assist with website management (updating bios, building pages)
