Assistant Lecturer/Teaching Professor of Marketing

Ball State University’s Department of Marketing has a contract faculty position available August 2021. Teaching responsibilities will primarily focus on Social Media and Digital Marketing courses with ability to cover some additional undergraduate marketing courses as needed. Normal teaching load is twelve semester hours with opportunity to participate in our executive education program.
Minimum Qualifications: MBA or Masters Degree in a marketing-related field from an AACSB-accredited college or university. Minimum of five years of mid- or upper-level professional experience in an area relevant to teaching responsibility.
Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications: Completed Doctorate or ABD in Marketing or other Marketing-related field from an AACSB-accredited college or university, teaching experience in digital marketing/social media, promotion, or other Marketing-related area at the university level as well as experience with new technology, online instruction and record/interest in scholarly research.
