Job Description
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Accountant to join our Finance Team in our London office. Bilendi is one of Europe’s leading providers of Market Research Services and Customer Engagement and Loyalty Solutions. We are experiencing strong growth and our London Bridge based team is busy and thriving.
Working as part of a small team and reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will take full responsibility for the accounts up to trial balance.
MONTHEND
- Fixed asset register and depreciation
- Prepayments & cost accruals
- Accrued & deferred revenues
- Bad debt provision
- Balance sheet recs
- Inter-company (Paris, Berlin & Copenhagen)
SALES LEDGER
- Verify all contracts and supporting documentation from the sales teams
- Raise sales invoices in Sage
- Reconcile invoices raised to monthly revenues
- Daily banking
- Credit control is a key and critical part of this role
- Fully reconcile all client accounts
- Credit check new clients
PURCHASE LEDGER
- Full responsibility for supplier invoices and employee expenses
- Weekly payment run
This is a superb opportunity for anyone with good experience working in a small finance team, superb Excel skills and a good administrator. Eager to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in, you will be highly motivated and be able to work using your own initiative.
You will probably be studying for AAT.
You must be personable with great communications skills and be keen to play an important part in a small team. It is important that you have the right attitude and will do whatever it takes to get the job done.
