Asset Management Analyst/Associate

 

Primary responsibility of the Analyst/Associate is to provide analytical, financial and administrative support to a team of Asset Managers overseeing NorthBridge’s growing portfolio of infill industrial assets. The Analyst/Associate should have a minimum 2 years of commercial real estate-related experience.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

 

  • Monitor rent rolls, financial performance and capital projects across the portfolio and assist the AM team in preparation of quarterly reviews
  • Prepare financial analysis to support lease and capital project recommendations as well as drafting responses to lease RFP’s
  • Assist asset managers and leasing teams in formulating lease proposals and coordinating responses to RFPs, including with PM and construction teams on tenant improvement plans/budgets
  • Involved in the oversight and approval of monthly financial statements, books and records
  • Coordinates with property management team in preparation and presentation of annual budgets
  • Communicates with all parties involved in an asset (tenants, contractors, legal team) as needed to execute property business plans
  • Works to maintain and enhance relationships with brokers, contractors and tenants
  • Provide assistance during acquisition process in the evaluation of potential investments

  • Commercial real estate analysis/asset management experience with an emphasis on properties with commercial leases preferred.
  • Experience in commercial leasing, property management, Argus software, real estate finance or accounting experience is an advantage.
  • Advance knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook are required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills required in an entrepreneurial environment and close-knit team.
  • Strong organizational skills: This is essential to effectively coordinate and manage multiple assignments, as well as prioritize tasks and efforts.

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Four-year college or university degree required with a minimum of 2 years related work experience in commercial real estate.
