Global Financial Firm located in IRVING, TX has an immediate contract opportunity for an experienced Architecture Lead Analyst (Solutions Architect)
“This role is currently work-from-home and will move to the office environment after the COVID-19 restrictions are lifted.”
You will need to have reliable internet, computer and android or iphone for remote access into the client systems during remote work

Role: Architecture Lead Analyst (Solutions Architect)
As an Architecture Lead Analyst (Solutions Architect) you will be responsible for architecting robust customer facing and internal applications that will further the business goals and reputation of Client. You will take into consideration approved products, design patterns, application requirements, security considerations, cost, etc and you will engage on projects to build new or refactor existing applications, working with a team of experienced application developers and project managers who are all trying to enable the business at Client to accelerate delivery through new technology adoption. Client is one of the largest financial institutions in the world with Consumer banking services delivered across the US, Mexico, Asia and Europe. This role provides a fantastic opportunity for technologists who have a broad range of technology skills to put them to good use and continue to expand them into new technology areas.
The Architecture Lead Analyst (Solutions Architect) is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business. Requires basic commercial awareness. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external partners. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business.
Assess architecture significance of assigned projects from the plan-of-record to determine architectural significance, level of engagement, and if necessary implementation effort estimates
Analyze business requirements and determine technical solutions – evaluate technical and business capabilities of top candidates to recommend the best option
Assist in prototype work if needed to validate the selected option meets the required business needs
Guide, influence, and persuade others with developed communication and diplomacy skills
Document technical design describing structure, characteristics, behavior, and other aspects of software to project stakeholders
Assess proposed designs for compliance with enterprise application, information, and security standards
Assess developed solutions to determine any non-compliance with standards or potential for optimization and confirm adherence with agreed design
Ability to work within a team to create a compelling case for change and build consensus towards a technical direction
Develop technology roadmaps, while keeping up-to-date with emerging technologies, and recommends business directions based on these technologies
Perform oversight of application and technology inventories as required per Client Enterprise Architecture Standards. Includes review and approval of new applications and technologies, retirement of aging applications and technology, and overall application and technology portfolio management
Act as an advisor or mentor to application development team members on available technical.
