Job Description
The DIT Enterprise Collaboration Services (ECS) team’s mission is to provide enterprise-level communication and collaboration services that improve the productivity and efficiency for the workforce in state government and other authorized government and public-sector entities with our core clientele being state Executive Branch agencies. More than 65,000 public servants rely on our enterprise-level communication and collaboration capabilities through our Microsoft 365 core services including Exchange Online Email, Email Archiving, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and Power Platform.
The primary focus of this position will be to serve as an Enterprise Collaboration Services administrator for the state’s enterprise-wide shared Microsoft 365 Cloud Solution and its associated services, as well as general support for all other services such as eSignature and Mailman Lists service. The Applications Systems Analyst II is responsible for working and collaborating in a team environment to share responsibility for the daily operational support, application consulting, and processing of Incidents and Service Requests by leveraging the organization’s ITIL-based policies and processes.
Duties include, but are not limited, to:
- Performing daily operational customer support activities for Incident and Service Requests for the MS365 Service Stack
- Driving timely delivery and resolution of customer requests to meet all defined Service and Operating Level Agreements
- Effectively completing assigned Tier 2 analyst tasks in a timely manner while meeting or exceeding expected results and quality expectations
- Remaining up to date on Office 365 changes in service and product offerings.
- Configuration and support of Microsoft Office 365 Cloud Solution services on various customer platforms
- Troubleshooting, diagnosing, isolating, and resolving complex technical issues experienced by customers
- Providing mid-level support for general cloud service security (email hygiene, application security, etc.) using Microsoft Defender for Office 365, Cloud Apps, Endpoints, and Exchange Online
- Participating in service on-call rotation and responding to escalations 24/7 during on-call responsibility periods
- Performing additional duties as assigned and required to maintain operations

To qualify for this position, applicants must document on the application that they possess ALL of the following:
- Experience with information systems application support of Microsoft Office 365
- Experience with cloud-based application suites such as Microsoft Office 365 in a Windows environment
- Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and execute with strong problem-solving skills
- Proficient with various email software clients such as Outlook
The following Management Preferences are not required, but applicants that possess these skills are preferred:
- Excellent customer service, oral and written communication skills within a business and technical context.
- Specific experience with the following MS365 Core Services such as Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams and Power Platform

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an IT related field or related technical degree from an appropriately accredited institution and two years of experience in business application consulting or development
OR
Associate degree in computer science or an IT related field from an appropriately accredited institution and three years of experience in application consulting or development
OR
High School or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and six years of experience in business application consulting or development; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
