We currently have an opening for an Applications Systems Analyst II

Closing Date: 8/28/2024 5:00PM Eastern

The primary responsibility of the Applications Systems Analyst is to provide maintenance and operations support for Engineering Content Management (ECM) Construction team portfolio using various tools including, but not limited to, Microsoft SharePoint.

Duties include, but are not limited, to:

• Guide the creation, implementation, and maintenance of technical application solutions or apply appropriate technology to projects of a broad organizational scope
• Assess customer needs and develops technical solutions, especially as these solutions involve integration of multiple systems and applications
• Serves as the primary interface into the ECM Construction Team for the majority of the user base

Note: Selected candidate must reside in North Carolina at time of hire.

To qualify for this position, applicants must document on the application that they possess ALL of the following:

• Experience with business analysis and software design techniques
• Experience with project management skills
• Experience developing technical documentation and/or user guides

The following Management Preferences are not required, but applicants that possess the skills are preferred:

• Experience designing and testing SharePoint solutions
• Experience designing and testing technical solutions for State Government business units

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

Some state job postings say you can qualify by an ‘equivalent combination of education and experience.’ If that language appears below, then you may qualify through EITHER years of education OR years of directly related experience, OR a combination of both. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an IT related field or related technical degree from an appropriately accredited institution and two years of experience in business application consulting or development

OR

Associate degree in computer science or an IT related field from an appropriately accredited institution and three years of experience in application consulting or development

OR

High School or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and six years of experience in business application consulting or development; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
