Full-Time Analyst, Stewardship (Sustainability / Responsible Investment)
Job Description
The UN-supported Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) is hiring for a new analyst role in our stewardship team.
The stewardship team is responsible for supporting investors to better monitor and drive change at companies they invest in on their human rights and environmental practices, including labour rights, digital rights, deforestation, climate change and diversity, equity & inclusion.
This newly created role will play a key role in supporting the team in running these initiatives. This is an entry level role, great for anyone passionate or curious about sustainability (including environmental, social and governance issues) and/or finance – and the intersection of these two topics.
We’re looking for someone with a clear interest in the topic, good organisational skills and a collaborative approach to working with others. No formal higher education or work experience in this area is required – but we would encourage you to clearly explain in the recruitment process how your other experiences meet the skills and experiences we’re looking for. For example, do you have a good understanding of sustainability through volunteering? Have you built a good collaborative approach to working with others through an extracurricular activity/hobby?
We’d like to particularly encourage applications from candidates from marginalised groups (including Black, Asian, and other people of colour, those with visible or non-visible disabilities, LGBTQ+ candidates and those who are neurodivergent), and we run an anonymised application process and structured interviews to aim to remove unconscious bias from decision making.
If you have any questions about the role or application process, including what we’re looking for in the applications and interviews, please do reach out to me at Ch*********@un***.org.
