Full-Time Airline Marketing Manager Latam & Caribbean

Position Summary: Ensure the optimal customer perception of Airbus product relative to the competitor as a major necessary and decisive step for sales campaign success, relating to the employee’s particular field of expertise and responsibility. Contribute to the achievement of the yearly commercial targets as defined and detailed at the Directorate Symposia, in terms of sales, market share, and product, market and customer-specific goals.

Primary Responsibilities:

 

  1. Description: 50%
  • Support the marketing objectives of the Customer Affairs Directorate
  • Influence airline’s aircraft evaluation and purchasing decision and justify the purchase of Airbus products with prospective customers through high quality analytical support, and development of general and customized marketing argumentation in line with Airbus/campaign strategy and market/customer needs to establish competitive advantage of Airbus products
  • Convincingly deliver marketing analysis and argumentation with a sound logical reasoning to customer audiences through documentation, high quality presentations, or other means
  • Drive all types of campaigns under his/her responsibility, including major and Corporate Strategic campaigns, in the form of campaign planning and pro-active definition of campaign approach, direction and framework of product pitch

  • Support autonomously all types of campaign cases, through a broad spectrum of types of analysis, enabled through mastery of all the necessary tools and techniques.
  • Perform pro-active campaign planning and proactive definition of campaign approach and direction, fleet vision, and framework of product pitch (key elements to demonstrate best airline fleet fit of Airbus products, and establish favorable competitive position)
  • Identify needs for and manage efficiently support resources.
  • Prepare and develop marketing argumentation and analyses to meet set targets, and develop suitable ways and methods of presentation to customer audiences.
  • Interact with other areas in Marketing and Airbus to enhance and tailor marketing analysis and argumentation.
  • Interaction with customers:
  • Establish and maintain good relationships with customers
  • Convey marketing argumentation to customer audience through documents, presentations and other means and obtain data and information to enhance marketing analysis through customer interaction
  • For assigned projects, cooperate and coordinate with Marketing and Sales Directors to contribute to campaign strategy development
  • Internal feedback and reporting:
  • Maintain systematic feedback to the concerned Regional Airline Marketing Directors as well as Senior Airline Marketing Director
  • Write or contribute to required internal reports: Visit reports after each visit, Marketing Rationales for the relevant Corporate Strategic and Priority campaigns, Campaign Feedbacks.
  • Contribute to Airbus product strategy development through market feedback, as well as the Marketing surveys about campaign and product requirements

Qualified Experience / Skills / Training:

Education:

  • 4 year college degree required with post-graduate aviation related studies preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum of three (3) years or more marketing experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. At least one (1) year of commercial aviation industry experience.

Knowledge, Skills, Demonstrated Capabilities:

  • Basic knowledge of financial analysis tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office applications.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office applications.
  • Ability to prepare and give formal presentations.
  • Knowledge of the aviation industry with emphasis on Airbus products.
  • Ability to work in a team environment while being a dynamic, innovative and creative contributor

Communication Skills (Spoken, Written, Influencing, Proficiency in Other Languages):

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (French language skills being an advantage). Multiple languages, a plus.
  • Must be fluent in English and Spanish

Travel Required:

  • 30% Domestic and International

  • Ability to work in US
