Yolk recruitment Public Sector and Not for Profit are working with a member lead organisation who works to provide a consistent, coherent, and effective voice for healthcare professionals and the people they care for, promoting and communicating the objectives, values, and policies to influence nurses, public opinion, and decision makers everywhere.

What you will be doing as the Adviser:
Specialised Advice Services:
Provide effective and confidential advice to RCN members on a range of employment and professional issues.
Utilise a range of communication skills to diagnose members’ situations and gain clear insight into the issues.
Research from trusted sources, filtering complex information to identify options appropriate to the member’s situation.
Documentation and Quality Standards:
Write up succinct and accurate records of advice given, maintaining high-quality standards.
Create and amend members’ records, ensuring comprehensive and up-to-date information.
Work diligently to meet the Advice Centre’s quality and productivity standards.
Collaboration and Advocacy:
Collaborate with colleagues to contribute ideas for the ongoing improvement of internal information sources.
Participate in project work directed by the Advice Centre Manager and Team Manager.
Champion equality, diversity, inclusion, and human rights, actively contributing to the organisations commitments.
What you will need as the Adviser:
Expert Knowledge and Qualifications:
Understanding of employment law and workplace relations
Qualified to a further or higher educational level, demonstrating a commitment to continuous learning.
Customer-Centric Experience:
Proven track record of thriving in a successful, fast-paced team environment.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely.
Hands-on experience in learning new systems, capturing detailed information with high accuracy within timed environments.
Analytical and Solution-Oriented Skills:
Ability to use listening and questioning skills effectively to gather information.
Quick and effective rapport-building skills, establishing trust and confidence.
Proficient in searching digital resources for information independently in a timed environment and offering appropriate solutions confidently.
