We are currently hiring for the position of:
ADVANCEMENT COORDINATOR
Reporting to the Director, Development, the Advancement Coordinator will assist in the day-to-day operations of the Advancement Team, which includes Loyalty and Engagement, Development, and Government Relations. Responsibilities include member and donor stewardship, fundraising, and administrative support.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Shall include but not be limited to:
- Donor Stewardship Support
- Drafting and sending gift acknowledgements
- Coordinate and fulfill regular stewardship touchpoints
- Assist with all aspects of event logistics, from invitation to execution – often working with Events team in Visitor Experience
- Work across Advancement teams to ensure accurate supporter
- recognition, including maintaining digital and print donor records
- Offering concierge service to supporters
- Support writing stewardship and impact reports
- Support stewardship of TIFF’s VIP members and donors
- Fundraising Support
- Organize inventory of recognition and naming opportunities
- Help write donor solicitations across Advancement teams
- Conduct research and help build prospect profiles
- Maintain moves management systems and help coordinate senior staff and volunteers
- Support Tribute event and fundraising
- Administrative support to Advancement team
- Coding, tracking and invoicing gifts and pledges
- Invoicing and purchase order support
- Helping to set up meetings
- Producing campaign and other reports
- Other tasks as assigned
JOB GRADE & SALARY:
- Job Grade 2
- $50,000 to $65,000 / Annually
TARGET START DATE:
- October 31, 2022
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree or acceptable combination of equivalent experience
- 2-3 years of experience in fundraising or non-profit environment
- Experience in writing and editing reports and correspondence
- Experience dealing with donors or customers
- Experience with Raiser’s Edge an asset
- Strong writing skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting abilities
- Commitment to professional feedback and development
- Adaptable to a flexible work schedule including occasional evenings and weekends
- Bilingual French / English an asset
- Adaptable to a flexible work schedule including some evenings and weekends
- This position requires being in the office on a regular basis, aligning with our Flexible Work from Home Policy.
