Job Description
Due to the promotion of the existing Band 7 Advanced Occupational Therapist (OT) the Humber Centre of Forensic Psychiatry have an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced, knowledgeable, and compassionate Advanced OT to join a dynamic and transforming Forensic inpatient Mental Health Service.
The Humber Centre is an all-male adult environment that offers 5 inpatient areas which includes medium, low level of security and a step-down community preparation unit to support the recovery of service-users who experience either a Personality Disorder, Psychosis and LD diagnosis.
The clinical environment has recently undergone an exciting refurbishment to increase the existing therapeutic spaces to ensure service-users have the opportunity and access to environments in which to promote their recovery. Therefore the successful applicant will have the opportunity to provide professional and clinical leadership to the already existing and established OT staff group.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be part of wider Humber OT staff group, which has approximately 80+ staff across 21 services, providing CPD opportunities.
