Full-Time Admissions Navigator
Job Description
The Admissions Navigator is directly accountable to the Associate Director of Admissions Navigation for the following duties and responsibilities:
The individual filling this position is expected to play a positive leadership role in helping the College effectively manage change.
- Effectively represent NWFSC at various campus events, community events, college fairs, schools, and businesses in-state and out-of-state as directed in a professional and highly knowledgeable manner.
- Build professional and institutional relationships with teachers, counselors, students, and parents.
- Deliver engaging presentations at recruiting events.
- Maintain detailed knowledge of all admissions requirements and procedures with the ability to provide detailed, personal assistance to applicants and prospective students.
- Maintain current and detailed knowledge of all degree and certificate offerings and be able to effectively communicate related information to prospective students.
- Guide prospective students through the application for admissions to the college, providing consistent follow-up and support when needed.
- Provide tours to prospective students and other visitors at various campus and center locations.
- Actively communicate and respond to prospective students in a timely, professional manner.
- Meet or exceed recruitment goals as assigned and actively seek new opportunities for growing outreach efforts.
- Play an active role in all recruitment events and initiatives as directed.
- Complete mandatory annual compliance training.

Requirements:
- Associate’s degree with two to four years relevant work experience, or Bachelor’s degree with one to three years of relevant work experience.
- Ability to travel in-state, out-of-state, and occasionally overnight.
- Previous sales and/or recruitment experience preferred.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Demonstrated excellence in customer service/relations.
- Goal-driven with the ability to provide reliable insight into opportunities for improvement.
- Proficiency in Spanish a plus.
