Thompson Coburn, a large full-service law firm with offices in eight (8) cities across the U.S., is in search of an Administrative Support Assistant to fill a full-time non-exempt position in its Belleville office. Qualified applicants will possess excellent attention to detail, organization and communication skills, and willingness to learn new technology.  Associate’s degree and one year of administrative support experience preferred. Key Responsibilities

  • Ensures attorney timesheets are entered and released in accordance with deadlines.
  • Performs time edits as needed by attorneys.
  • Performs scan projects for LAAs utilizing Firm software.
  • Enters invoices and expense reports in Chrome River for processing.
  • Profiles and files documents in the Firm’s document management system (iManage), and as appropriate, files paper copies in files.
  • Assists LAAs in file opening processes.
  • Creates hearing, deposition, and trial binders for attorneys and paralegals.
  • Provides backup support related to Court case pulls and docketing matters, including downloading and profiling/saving pleadings from court websites to iManage.

 

Experience and Education Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; an Associate degree preferred.
  • A minimum of one (1) year experience working in an administrative capacity is preferred.
