Temporary Administrative Associate II – FT Temp
Job Description
- Assist our Administrative Specialist in:
- Creating/processing requisitions and purchase orders.
- Maintaining inventory.
- Entering and processing bi-weekly payroll.
- Maintaining our personnel files.
- Processing accounts payable.
- Answering our multi-line phone system.
- Creating tickets in our CARS system.
- Processing incoming and outgoing mail.
- Typing correspondence using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Other duties as assigned.
- Assist our Administrative Specialist in:
- Customer service experience, including resolving customer issues.
- Experience completing and/or maintaining records and reports.
- Experience interpreting/explaining policies, procedures, and laws.
- Record keeping experience.
- Detail oriented, self-motivated, and able to multi-task.
- Receptionist experience answering a multi-line phone system.
- Can work independently maintaining and organizing records.
- Excellent communications skills to respond to all inquiries and instructions in a timely manner.
- Verbal and written communication skills including proper grammar and ability to compose/proofread all correspondence.
- General knowledge of office accounting and record keeping procedures and their application in a work environment.
- Team player who can establish good working relationships with coworkers, county residents, and town personnel with professionalism and tact in performance of duties.
- Available to work after hours during emergency situations such as hurricanes, tropical storms, etc.
- High school/GED diploma, and
- 1+ years of related administrative experience; or
- An equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Candidates with SAP R/3, CARS, and/or TIMS experience.
