Part-Time Administrative Associate
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Administrative Associate to support our growing team. NPOC Services has been provides outsourced finance operations and administrative support for small nonprofit organizations across the country since 2014. We support all aspects of operations support, such as bookkeeping, administrative support, human resources, and payroll.
The Administrative Associate will be the assigned dedicated client accounts but will also provide support for all clients as needed. This is a part-time position, and we are looking for someone for approximately 25 hours per week; however, there is room to increase hours up to full-time.
Primary
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Serve as primary client account contact for administrative tasks:
- Calendaring (booking appointments)
- Travel management (bookings/logistics)
- Filing and scanning documents and receipts
- Gift entry and donor acknowledgements
- Grant task management
- Mailings
- Donor database management
- Research
- Order fulfillments for special projects and campaigns
- Special projects
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: A successful candidate must have a positive attitude, enjoy a fast-paced environment, be highly organized without losing sight of larger objectives, and be committed to justice and equality for all- NPOC mainly services organizations with a progressive social mission.
The qualified individual must pay exceedingly close attention to detail, have excellent judgment, and be able to work in a changing environment. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and networking skills with teams, as well as with individuals. Proficiency with computer database applications like Salesforce a plus. Ability to maintain a high level of poise and professionalism in all circumstances. Ideal candidate would be local to our office in Swampscott, MA.
Education & Experience: Excellent oral and written communication skills. Complete proficiency with Microsoft Office suite is a must, especially Excel and Word. Direct experience working in the nonprofit sector is a plus.
Language requirement
Being fluent in English is required. Profiency with other languages is a plus.
