ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT (Business Association of West Parkside – BAWP)
– JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
The role of Administrative Assistant is a part-time, non-exempt position, working 10-hours per week (working hours are flexible, but must not exceed 40-hours in any calendar month), reporting to:
- The President of the Board of Directors of the Business Association of West Parkside
General Responsibilities
- Prepares bi-weekly time and activity reports for the President of the Board of Directors of the Business Association of West Parkside.
- Manages coordinates, attends, and oversees all board meetings of the Business Association of West Parkside, including the sending of agendas and financial statements prior to meetings.
- Serves as site administrator for the Business Association of West Parkside social media platform.
- Reserves conference rooms and conference lines as well as coordinates relevant meeting logistics for all meetings involving the President of the Board of Directors of the Business Association of West Parkside.
- Serves as primary contact for calls to the Business Association of West Parkside.
- Manages external activities (programming and projects) related to the Business Association of West Parkside.
- Serves as the point person for office supply management, oversight of inbound and outbound mail distribution.
- Oversees the maintenance and repair of office machinery and equipment, such as copiers, printers, telephones, and computers.
- Greets visitors and determines whether they should be given access to specific individuals.
- Opens, sorts, and distributes incoming correspondence, including faxes and email.
