Job Title: Accreditation Programme Manager
Salary: £37,246 – £39,396 pa
Working Hours: Full time, 35 hours per week
Type of Contract: Fixed term contract, 12 months
Location: London, Hybrid
An exciting opportunity for a highly organised individual to manage the international accreditation programmes of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG), working closely with overseas units to ensure the international accredited training programmes meet the educational requirements of the College.
About the role
You will be responsible for leading the development of the College’s overseas accreditation pathway, delivering professional support and expertise to overseas units, acting as the first point of contact. This work will include ensuring overseas units meet educational requirements outlined by the College, in line with standards set by the General Medical Council (GMC).
As our Accreditation Programme Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the administrative process related to the review and accreditation of international O&G training programmes, and support the planning process and accreditation event preparation. Liaising with overseas education units, you will manage the overall implementation and assessment processes, ensuring relevant records are complied and reporting accreditation recommendations.
About you
As the ideal candidate, you will have:
Good working knowledge of UK quality assurance frameworks within the higher education or health sector
Strong programme management skills
Proven ability of managing and devising complex processes
Experience of servicing committees and minute taking
Proven competence in monitoring and documenting project progress and submitting comprehensive narrative and financial reports
