Pay Range: $23 – $28.50

Paid time off includes a progressive PTO program. After 90 days of service, 9 days of PTO which may be carried over to next service year. At anniversary date, 16 PTO days are given. PTO is accrued on a schedule of one additional day per year up to five years, thereafter, one additional day for every two years, to a maximum PTO accrual of 26 days after 16 years of service. Maximum PTO carryover to the following year is current year PTO accrual.

We specialize in working with Aircraft Manufacturers (OEMs), Defense Organizations, Commercial Airlines, and Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facilities by providing them with the expertise and tools to repair composite flight controls and other main aircraft parts. About the Position

We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to perform day-to-day accounts receivable activities; assist with daily, weekly, monthly and year-end financial reporting duties; and perform duties in the closing process.

  • Responsible for Accounts Receivable function day-to-day accounting duties, to include cash receipts, customer invoicing, and customer payments and collections.
  • Review and analysis of new customer credit applications with recommendation to VP Finance on whether to extend terms and appropriate credit limits.
  • Continuous streamlining of processes in all aspects of responsibilities.
  • Monthly reconciliations to G/L of following accounts: Cash, A/R, customer deposits – review for issues, and others as needed
  • Assist with monthly and year-end closing process.
  • Assist with gathering and maintaining business metrics.
  • Provide support for Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives, company-wide.
  • Other duties, reporting, special assignments or projects as needed and assigned.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be skilled at using spreadsheets and word processing software and have strong customer service skills and multitasking abilities.
  • Experience using ERP systems a must. Epicor a plus.
  • Proficient with a personal computer, word processing programs, and spreadsheets and ability to type.
  • Ability to effectively interpret and provide information one-on-one to customers and management.
  • Ability to write intercompany correspondence and e-mails and have excellent documentation skills.
  • Ability to apply concepts of arithmetic and algebra and their applications.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, balance and sit for prolonged periods, speak clearly and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. The employee is regularly required to use fingers, hands and arms to manipulate and shuffle documents, use writing instruments, and type on a keyboard.
