We are looking for a talented accountant to join our dynamic team! Do you enjoy working with employees? Do you like to problem solve and take initiative? We need a detail-oriented, customer service individual who can help meet the needs of employees and managers. This position requires the ability to perform high level accounting functions covering a broad range of financial duties including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, grants, fixed assets and purchasing.
Pay Range and Status
- $62,720 to $76,832 per year DOQ
- 40 hrs/wk
- Monday – Friday

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration, with 5 – 7 years of experience.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience level.
- Knowledge of accounting theory, principles, and practices; management information systems; budgeting; computerized financial applications; payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions; financial reporting.
- Strong communication, customer service, problem solving and analytical skills.
Key Responsibility
Under the direction of the Finance Director, the accountant conducts advanced level work related to payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, grants, fixed assets and purchasing functions to complete necessary accounting transactions that ensure the highest level of efficiency while maintaining appropriate internal controls and compliance with generally accepted accounting principles.
