Salary Range: $150,272-187,840
Essential Functions and Objectives:
Responsible for providing vision, strategic direction, and leading teams over equity, strategy, culturally responsive education, school accountability, assessment and research. Lead efforts to increase representation of inclusivity and underrepresented groups. Drive alignment on areas of strategic impact and planning. Leads work on guidelines for the DPS School Performance Compact. Works collaboratively with departments to drive data-informed decision making. Accelerates District performance through cohesive strategic planning and organizational impact. Ensures District strategies are communicated and aligned to all divisions to drive organizational impact and change.
Reports to the Superintendent and works collaboratively as a member of the Superintendent’s Leadership Team as a values-based organization, achieving goals through our shared commitment to Students First, Integrity, Equity, Collaboration, Accountability and Fun. Plans, assigns and supervises the work performed in the areas of responsibility; ensures compliance with District policy and practices and appropriate federal, state and local rules and regulations.
Education and Qualifications:
– Master’s degree in education required
– 10 years of experience and leadership in urban school systems
