Summary

In an increasingly connected world, massive amounts of structured and unstructured data open up new opportunities.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The Weber IoT Data Analytics Manager will examine trends and patterns apparent in the data surrounding our Weber Connect and iGrill devices and come to meaningful conclusions from the information acquired. This information will be used to aid in business decision-making, support business strategy for product innovation, IoT development plans, marketing strategies and customer service support. The data will also be used to personalize the IoT user experience and in the future will fuel machine learning and AI tools.

 

The IoT Consumer Analytics Manager will work with the IoT development and CI&A data analytics teams to complete the following tasks:

  • Lead CI&A and IoT development teams to collect and organize data dashboards.
  • Interpret key learnings from the data and share all data with relevant key stakeholders (e.g. product management team, customer service, marketing, IoT teams)
  • Analyze results. Identifying patterns and trends in data sets
  • Working alongside teams within the business or the management team to establish business KPI needs
  • Defining new data collection and analysis processes with June and IoT development teams
  • Brainstorm ways in which we can use data collected to enhance the user experience (personalization, customization, etc.)
  • Utilize insights to help grill and app teams develop product roadmaps
  • Influence marketing strategy with app insights

 

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience in market research and/or product management with Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field
  • Have an analytical approach to interpreting data
  • Observant and have a strong attention to detail
  • Generally versed in IoT – the way in which digital networks and technologies are all interconnected
  • Excellent communication skills for reporting on data and the conclusions found
  • Well-organized in managing varying sets of data
  • Research skills in identifying sources of data, as well as new methods of data collection, analysis, and reporting
