Assistant Director of Engagement, Collegiate Programs

The Ball State University Foundation welcomes applicants for an Associate Director of Alumni Engagement, Collegiate Programs. This position will plan, manage, implement, and direct alumni engagement in support of the mission and strategic goals for assigned Colleges and the Ball State University Foundation; assist multiple alumni boards and societies; partner with Deans, department chairs and internal foundation team in the overall planning and administration of alumni engagement activities.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. Five years of alumni relations or relevant experiences working with alumni volunteers. Some experience in the management and execution of events to include marketing, planning, and event coordination. Effective written and oral communication skills along with strong organization skills. Ability to function cooperatively with a wide variety of individuals. Willingness to work weekends and events. Willingness to travel; possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and be insurable under the university’s auto fleet policy. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and other platforms as needed. Working knowledge of Blackbaud NXT or other CRM.

Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree. Experience collaborating with academic units and collegiate partners. Experience with volunteer recruitment and management.
