SUMMARY OF WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
The Earthling Co. is searching for a mission driven Head of Growth Marketing to drive reliable, aligned, and scalable growth. We have a big vision and need a talented, diverse team to make it a reality. You’ll help us maintain our rapid annual growth rate by driving both strategy and execution focused on optimizing and expanding our channel mix, growing our content and organic traffic strategy, improving our forecasting, tracking and reporting related to customer acquisition, and more. You will report directly to the Co-Founder & CEO playing a critical role in our success.
In short, we are looking for someone with not less than 5 years in a similar marketing role for D2C ecommerce companies and a successful track record of building and executing growth strategies for startups or hyper growth brands.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Lead, manage, and monitor all of our Marketing efforts, including but not limited to: Retention/Monetization, Creative & Content, and Acquisition
- Own the strategy and vision behind The Earthling Co.’s digital growth, marketing, acquisition, customer LTV, brand awareness, and more.
- Lead, manage, and monitor our acquisition channel expansion (TikTok, Influencers, YouTube, Pinterest, Snapchat, etc.)
- Partner and collaborate with the creative/brand marketing teams to develop and optimize on-brand assets that fuel growth for marketing initiatives
- Partner and collaborate with our e-commerce Website Manager and Web Developer to define and implement strategies and initiatives that drive user acquisition and retention
- Synthesize vast amounts of data and report key insights and findings to the executive team and other stakeholders on a recurring basis
- Create and manage dashboards to allow real time access to KPI against goals across the organization and other actionable insights
- Maintain and develop strong partner relationships with marketing platforms and agencies (PR, SEO, Digital Marketing, email, etc)
- Ultimately build a small team of full time employees in collaboration with the executive team and HR to enable us to move quickly
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, or equivalent related experience, but not less than 5 years in a similar marketing role for D2C ecommerce companies
- Successful track record of building and executing growth strategies for startups or hyper growth brands
- Excellent leadership presence that inspires your team and influences key leaders
- Superior communication (verbal and written), presentation, project management, and time management skills
- Top notch analytical skills with a proven ability to work through data to find opportunities and actionable insights not readily apparent with the ability to communicate those to key decision makers
- An Entrepreneurial spirit, self starter and self motivated
- Demonstrated experience working across the full D2C marketing funnel (customer acquisition, conversion, engagement) and across the marketing mix (both online and offline channels)
- Experience owning and managing a budget, forecasting and delivering on monthly goals of spend, CPA, ROAS, Retention and LTV
- Prior demonstrated experience building, leading and managing a diverse team of direct reports
- Interest in and knowledge of sustainability and the zero waste movement

LOCATION
This is a remote position ideally located in CA, CO, NV, PA, or TN.
