Full-Time Project Manager, Marketing & Creative

Job Description

The Project Manager, Marketing & Creative contributes to The Bouqs’ mission of creating a world‑class sustainable brand disrupting the global $50B floral industry by leading the development and implementation of efficient workflow processes for the Integrated Marketing Team.  As an integral part of the organization, you will partner with cross-functional teams to execute plans to support key initiatives and objectives.  You’re passionate and energized by organization and building structured processes.  You’re an excellent communicator and a people person that can diplomatically enforce deadlines and problem solve.  You’re a strong relationship builder, a quick learner.  You work well in a fast-paced environment and love to get stuff done- efficiently.
This position reports directly to the Marketing Director.

Responsibilities:

    • Develop, manage, and drive a project workflow system for Creative/ Marketing/ Merchandising Teams to ensure projects are delivered on time.
    • Structure and manage complex, rapidly moving project workstreams including site assets, email, social, print collateral, packaging, seasonal campaign assets, partnership initiatives, etc.
    • Develop a strong understanding of the creative process and end-to-end contributors required to bring a creative idea to life.
    • Lead regular meetings to communicate project statuses, identify any potential bottlenecks, and continuously manage expectations.
    • Proactively manage resources including identification and mitigation of project risks, devise contingency plans and escalate as appropriate.
    • Partner with Marketing Director to drive Go-To-Market process with key stakeholders (Design, Merchandising, Operations, Marketing, Creative, etc.) to ensure efficient and on-time execution of seasonal collections.
    • Continually work to improve efficiency in the processes, allowing the business to scale sustainably.
    • Coordinate with other PMO resources to ensure clear cross-functional communication and alignment.
    • Help research and brainstorm marketing initiatives
    • Build and maintain strong, healthy internal and external relationships

Qualifications:

    • BS/BA in related discipline such as Business, Marketing or Communications
    • 5-8 years of experience in project management, ideally at an agency or in-house marketing department
    • Experience with JIRA management platform is a plus
    • Preference for candidates with experience managing project scope and objectives within merchandising, creative, digital marketing, retail, or consumer-facing initiatives
    • Fashion, Beauty, CPG experience a plus
    • A highly motivated individual with a track record of success in a high growth environment.
    • Startup mentality: scrappy, creative, and biased toward action.
    • Ability to influence and motivate key business partners in a positive way.
    • Comfort in dealing with ambiguity.
    • Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
    • Prior experience implementing a process of efficient workflow system.
    • Experience and knowledge of digital marketing.
