Join our top-rated food and beverage teams and transform your passion for great food into an array of culinary techniques—from fine-dining and pub fare to pastries and banquets.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
* Preparing all foods necessary for service
* Demonstrating competency in breakfast cookery, vegetable preparations, cooking starches, sandwich preparation, basic meat, fish, & poultry cooking
* Advanced meat, fish and poultry fabrication, advanced stocks, soups and sauce preparation
* Demonstrating leadership in your work group, have the ability to lead the kitchen in the absence of the unit chef
* Assist Chef with conducting monthly inventory taking, when needed.
* Be able to work stations in more than one outlet across resort.
* Assist in the training of Cook I’s and II’s in culinary skill set, safety, and sanitation practices.
* Aid in development of daily specials or menu additions with trends and innovation in mind.
This is a full time opportunity, working primarily 3:00pm – 11:00pm.
Skills/Requirements
* Have at least 2 years culinary experience, recommended
* Be able to work all stations of assigned kitchen, appetizer/dessert, grill, saut� and food preparation stations.
* Experiencing work in multiple departments/venues in resort.
* Have exposure to resort guests through guest facing activities/stations.
* Able to sit, stand, twist, bend, push, pull, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
