Full-Time Senior Enterprise Services Product Manager
Job Description
We are looking for a product manager to define and own the product vision and roadmap for platform services at Kessel Run. As a product manager at Kessel Run, you will be responsible for platform products, working to rally Kessel Run engineering teams to deliver on the vision you’ve charted. You will work with Kessel Run’s engineers and users to understand the core mission needs and deliver capabilities that exceed expectations. Your team builds critical services that allow Kessel Run to deploy applications reliably at scale, providing products and services that leverage existing platforms and cloud infrastructure to deliver on the mission.
What we are looking for
- Experience delivering software-as-a-service products that scale to large enterprises
- Proven record of successfully launching products or platforms
- Working with software engineers to deliver superior products or services
- Experience working in highly regulated or constrained environments
- Effectively manage stakeholder expectations and relationships
- Communicating across diverse technical and non-technical audiences
Who you are
- You are passionate about training the Air Force to do software development and want to see them acquire and build systems in a cost efficient and well thought out manner.
- Ability to prioritize well, and articulate your product roadmap across business functions and geographies
- Embrace a team-oriented approach to engineering working within an agile framework
- Are comfortable working with ambiguity and are capable of rapidly learning and iterating on solutions
- Outcome oriented and measure success using data
- You have hands-on experience with major cloud native software platforms and CI/CD environments
- Are willing to debug issues across the platform
- You feel comfortable speaking up when the wrong technical direction is being taken.
- You are a self-starter and have a passion for growing your skills and tackling challenge problems.
- You are a U.S. Citizen and have the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
What you will do
- Set a vision and strategy for platform services and products
- Owning decisions in your product area on the roadmap
- Facilitate and work in an agile environment, including daily standups and biweekly sprint planning meetings
- Manage technical products, defining milestones and success criteria, resource allocation and successful on-time delivery
- Collaborate with engineering, users, and other cross-functional teams to drive product improvement, integrations and new features
