Schedule: Hybrid Model (3 days onsite, Downtown Toronto, Ontario)
Salary Range: $50,000 – $60,000
Friends of Ruby is dedicated to supporting the well-being of 2SLGBTQIA+ youth aged 16-29 through mental health services, social programs, and housing. We operate a Youth Drop-In Centre offering barrier-free counselling, hot meals, and community programming, and a Transitional Home providing emergency and long-term housing with life-skills support to help youth transition toward independent living.
Position Overview:
If you are passionate about using data to make a difference in the lives of marginalized youth, this is your chance to contribute as a Reporting and Analytics Coordinator!
Note: Preference will be given to candidates with lived experience as members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.
Role Responsibilities:
Collaborate with frontline staff and management to develop practical solutions for data collection and reporting needs.
Collect, manage, analyze, and present data to support decision-making, quality improvement, program management, and grant reporting.
Utilize trauma-informed data collection methods and anti-racism and anti-oppression frameworks to ensure equity in data practices.
Clean datasets, conduct data audits, and establish systems to improve data integrity.
Configure and pull reports from the EHR database and troubleshoot reporting issues, collaborating with external vendors as needed.
Synthesize data into reports, visualizations, and dashboards tailored to different audiences, including funding agencies, management, and leadership.
Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Health Informatics, Computer Science, Business, Statistics, Data Analytics, Database Management, Public Health) or equivalent relevant work experience.
Demonstrated experience in data management and analytics, including collecting, storing, organizing, and presenting quantitative data.
Experience with EHR reporting software (e.g., VitalHub’s TREAT database preferred), including report configuration, troubleshooting, and dashboard building.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, data validation, filtering, macros).
Quick learner with exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience in the non-profit or social services sector, particularly in housing or mental health, is an asset.
