Full-Time Instructional Services/Curriculum Manager | Collegiate High School

Job Description

Salary: $49,553 – $66,621

Job Description:

  • Works collaboratively with Collegiate High School and NWFSC instructors to monitor and assure students’ success
  • Monitors academic progress of seniors throughout the school year and supports the Learning Coordinator with juniors when needed
  • Maintains accurate weekly schedules for all seniors for each semester
  • Assists in the development of high school curriculum, programs, and intervention strategies to meet the academic needs of students
  • Oversees directed studies and industry certifications for students, as identified by the student’s Comprehensive Graduation Plan
  • Coordinates and organizes alumni contacts and associations
  • Assists seniors in applying to colleges and universities and maintain information about scholarship opportunities
  • Assists Guidance Counselor when needed with standardized testing (particularly of students with accommodations)
  • Provides individualized and classroom instruction for Collegiate High School students as appropriate
  • Coordinates the senior capstone projects: Provides weekly capstone information to all seniors in capstone meetings and maintains Capstone curriculum in Canvas course shell for seniors. Assigns seniors to capstone advisors and holds weekly meetings and grade assignments for own capstone group
  • Manages assessment data to assist in curriculum and program decisions in keeping with the school mission and educational principles
  • Serves as a liaison to selected academic departments within the college
  • Assists in curriculum, program evaluation and development of Collegiate High School policies and procedures (e.g., Pupil Progression Plan, Student Handbook, etc.)
  • Attends, assists, supports, plans, and helps execute events and activities outside of the school day to include, but not limited to open house, prom, showcase, senior activities, award ceremonies, convocation, high school and college graduations, and recruitment activities in the community
  • Ensures professional, timely communication with CHS faculty/staff, students, and parents
  • Develops, revises, evaluates, and implements Collegiate High School curriculum
  • Attends and actively participates in faculty meetings, mandated trainings, and professional development opportunities
  • Seeks out and participates in professional development and continuing education activities to maintain and build skills and knowledge related to use of technology and teaching best practices, to include QEP and CITL events
  • Serves as a member of the Collegiate High School Assessment and Accountability Team
  • Teaches WOW Week (orientation week) and Minimester (end-of-spring term) classes as assigned
  • Serves as an advocate and positive representative in the community for the Collegiate High School mission and the students
  • Serves as a Collegiate High School club sponsor as assigned
  • Serves as Collegiate High School Capstone advisor as needed
  • Participates in and complies with all mandatory and directed safety practices, drills, and trainings
  • Completes assigned tasks, duties by due dates
  • As a part of the college’s risk management tool, completes annual mandatory compliance training
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in an educational related field with 5-7 years relevant work experience, Master’s degree preferred
  • Secondary and/or postsecondary teaching experience required
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Experience in working with adolescents
  • Experience in working with non-traditional and innovative educational settings
