What it looks like day to day:

As an Onboarding Specialist/ Compliance Partner at Hays, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring a seamless and professional candidate experience throughout the referencing and compliance process. Your responsibilities will include liaising with candidates and internal stakeholders, managing compliance tasks according to client deadlines, and maintaining accurate records. You will have a strong focus on onboarding a high volume of candidates and running background / referencing checks.

To be successful, you should demonstrate the following:

  • Knowledge of stakeholder management, KPI’s, and SLA’s.
  • Effective communication skills within the organization.
  • End-to-end knowledge of the compliance process.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in teams.
  • Knowledge of current legislation, including GDPR/privacy laws.
  • Proficiency in Excel and basic reporting systems.
  • Ownership, adaptability, and effective desk management.
  • Knowledge on Completing Right to Work checks per Government guidelines

It would be beneficial to have:

  • Knowledge of applicable systems (VMS, ATS, 3SS, Teams, etc.).

It would be desirable if you had experience with:

  • Building Customer Relationships

  • Showing professionalism

  • Evaluating risk
