Full-Time Deputy Director of Social Media Analysis-Creative
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Leverage social listening, survey, and social media trend data to develop highly-tailored, persuasive digital content ideas across major social media sites, audience segments, and media types.
- Work with owned account managers, video and design, paid media, surrogate, and coalition teams to develop and operationalize your ideas into outbound content.
- Develop content strategies to counter online misinformation.
- Work with analytics and survey teams to evaluate and provide recommendations on improving outbound and surrogate content performance.
- Other duties as assigned to support the department and the DNC’s mission.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in social media content creation in a corporate, political, government, or non-profit setting.
- Ideal candidates will be experienced digital content creators with a proven track record.
- Strong knowledge of social media — including trends, key influencers (political and non-political), and marketing strategies.
- Experience with graphic design and digital video and audio production.
- A strong creative eye and ability to think outside the box;
- A basic knowledge of US politics and key 2024 issues.
- A self-starter; you are willing to take the initiative, connect with stakeholders across teams, collaborate, and work hard to get the job done;
- You must be in D.C. or be willing to relocate to the Washington, D.C. or Wilmington, DE area.
