Job Description
An exciting opportunity has become available for a passionate and enthusiastic individual to work in our Communities of Recovery Fife service. We are recruiting a part-time Prison Peer Mentor Development Worker who will help bring positive change to the lives of individuals being liberated into the Fife area.
Phoenix Futures Scotland work in partnership with the ADP and SPS establishments to support prisoners pre and post liberation. You will be responsible for providing a seamless service which supports individuals into services in the Fife community and utilising the wider recovery partnership.
You will be motivated about working with this client group and have relevant experience working in this field. You will be responsible for delivering a wide range of recovery focused interventions and developing strong partnerships and joint working.
Applicants should be highly organised and be able to work on their own initiative as well as work effectively within a fast-paced team.
As an individual, we are looking for someone who is

- can work on their own initiative, but more importantly, as part of a team
- You will need good communication and organisational skills
- Successful candidates will be dynamic and forward thinking.
- The ideal candidate will have experience working with vulnerable adults presenting with substance, alcohol and associated issues.
