This organisation is looking for a Finance Officer to cover a maternity contract on a flexible part-time basis for 2 days per week. Job
The role of Finance Officer will give you the opportunity to be involved with the following:
- Work closely with senior staff to support the running of all transactional finance; AP, AR, Payroll, Journal entries, etc.
- Assist with month end processes
- Creating budgets across multiple departments
- Monitoring performance against budget
- Ensure compliance with financial controls
- Match, batch & code invoices
- Reconcile credit card and bank statements
- Report to stakeholders both balances across projects
- Assist with all budget preparation
- Forecast cash-flow
- Assist with annual audit compliance
- Ad-hoc administrative tasks
You
As a Finance Officer you will be skilled &/or qualified in the following:
- Confidence in the above responsibilities
- An accounting qualification or QBE
- Experience working in charity accounting (restricted and unrestricted funds)
- Ability to pick up Sage 50 or similar accounting software immediately
- Great communicator and strong presenter of information
