Job Description

Maryland Physicians Care (Maryland Physicians Care/MCMI) seeks a full-time Human Resources professional who will impact Recruiting, Engagement, Compliance and Communication. Additionally, this integral member of the Human Resources team will focus on driving culture and core values for the organization.

Acting as a human resources subject matter expert, this position supports the company with nearly 170 full-time employees and is the primary HR point of contact for MCMI and will be responsible for understanding HR practices and policies.

This person is a specialized human resource professional providing support for talent acquisition, onboarding, employee life cycle management, performance management, and training and development.

This position will lead the comprehensive recruitment process for MCMI to hire individuals with the best skills, knowledge, and abilities to achieve our mission. Engaging the talent of staff from an interactive onboarding process to curation and coordination of training and development opportunities to meet the diverse needs of the MCMI team. This new opportunity aims to exceed staff expectations of participating in a learning environment where development is encouraged, and training is accessible. This role will also continue efforts to provide staff routine and special forums to connect, communicate, and celebrate.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in human resources or closely related field or any bachelor’s degree and two years of professional HR experience. Candidates with a high school diploma (or GED) and equivalent (6+ years) professional HR experience will be considered for employment and are encouraged to apply.

Experience in a professional/business setting with specific experience in one or more of the following areas: recruiting, training adults, payroll, Compensation, employee experience, Employee relations, DEIBA (Diversity Equity, inclusion, Belonging and Accessibility), or HRIS.

Excellent written communication skills are required with competency in Microsoft Office products, especially with Office 365 suite (Teams and SharePoint especially).

Must be a team player with the ability to work autonomously. High ethics and integrity.

Customer Focus with a great attention to detail.

Interest in remaining current on best practices for talent engagement is essential.
