Xyla Health & Wellbeing are looking to recruit a Senior Finance Manager, who will oversee the review and production of management accounts, budgets and forecasting for our Community Health business unit. The role will also act as a key business interface and will involve contextualising the numbers with business performance.

Every day you will…

  • Reconcile billed, deferred, and accrued income per business contract, ensuring P&L and balance sheet accuracy.
  • Post and maintain accrual journals with obtained business context.
  • Ensure invoices billed per contractual terms and accurate business information.
  • Act as key contact for external auditors.
  • review revenue processes to ensure optimal efficiency and alignment with business goals.
  • Provide the Head of Finance and CH Senior Team with accurate management information.
  • Line management and development of the Finance Assistant.
  • Provide the CH SLT commentary on month-end performance.
  • Produce financial results for Divisional Business Review slides.
  • Use latest operational and financial data to produce accurate forecasts.
  • Provide pricing and costing models for bid and tender submissions.
  • Review the businesses variance analysis and request investigation into specific items when required.
  • Critically evaluate the financial performance of the business and bring to management’s attention areas of financial or operational inefficiency and recommendations for improvements.

To thrive in this role, you must ideally have…

  • Part or fully qualified with a recognised UK accounting/finance qualification.
  • Proven history within a management accounting role, with previous experience working in a private equity or similar organisation.
  • Excellent Excel skills.
  • Strong senior stakeholder management and influencing skills.
