Salary from £51,000 to £57,000, including excellent benefits and commission.

Xyla Elective Care are looking to recruit a Head of Business Development, who will be responsible for managing key business growth across our Acute Services business unit. You will provide direction in line with business strategy, identify new market propositions; and work collaboratively across the group, to ensure a united approach for business development activities.

Every day you will…

  • Ensure growth opportunities are maximised, including opportunities for cross and up selling services across the organisation.
  • Generate and deliver new business opportunities for Acute Services from both new and existing customers.
  • Create a robust account management strategy to ensure we are in a constant communication loop with existing clients, and expand our relationship and commercial footprint within the organisation and wider Integrated Care Systems.
  • Support with the strategic business planning process and execution in-line with company goals.
  • Interface with key decision makers including Executives, Directors, Managers and Procurement, to ensure that prospects move from point of generation through to successful completion.
  • Work with customers to define business requirements and effective solutions.
  • Liaise with marketing functions and other staff members to create and deliver an attraction strategy / strategy relevant to customer demand.
  • Continuously review progresses in-line with budget and company goals.
  • People management responsibility, through regular on the job coaching, conducting monthly 121’s setting SMART objectives, and reviewing performance metrics.

To thrive in this role, you must ideally have…

  • Proven experience in a sales management role.
  • Strong knowledge of and experience working within healthcare private and public sector markets.
  • Proven experience developing successful strategic business growth strategies and targets.
  • Experience leading high performing sales teams.
