We are currently looking for an experienced high value fundraiser to lead our major donor team. This is a rewarding role that comes at a time when there is significant change and progress for those living with cystic fibrosis.

Cystic Fibrosis Trust is the charity uniting for a life unlimited for all people with cystic fibrosis. We fund vital research, improve care, speak out and race towards effective treatments for all. Cystic Fibrosis Trust is here to make sure everyone with cystic fibrosis can live without limits.

Sitting within our experienced and supportive Philanthropy and Corporate Partnerships team, you’ll be responsible for leading our major donor programme for a fixed term of 9-12 months (you’ll be carrying out the role while our current Senior Philanthropy Manager is on maternity leave). Key responsibilities will include:

• Growing income for our vital programmes from your own portfolio of senior high net worth individual by building new relationships and maintaining ongoing relationships.

• Delivering and developing our major donor fundraising strategy, including managing budgets and KPIs.

• Leading our major donor stewardship calendar, including writing high quality proposals, coordinating high value events and overseeing supporter communications.

• Managing and supporting the major donor team which comprises of a Philanthropy Manager and a Philanthropy Executive.

• Working with other teams across the Trust, including other fundraising teams and programme teams, to maximise opportunities for developing major donor relationships

To be successful in the role, you will need experience of fundraising from major donors in previous roles and a track record of securing high value gifts. Ideally, we are also looking for experience of delivering a major donor fundraising strategy and some line management experience.

*This role is London office based and at present a minimum of 2 days in the office is required. Home-based candidates will be considered, with occasional travel to London as required.
